Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween.  I'm not sure if the reason is because of all the autumn-themed celebrations surrounding the day, or if I just like the idea of dressing up and having fun.  Either way, we had a great Halloween this year.  Since it was a Sunday, Amelia got to dress up in a new outfit from Granny Callie:

Note that this is a dress, but she likes to squirm.  :-)

To celebrate in the evening, Matt and I went to our friends' house for pumpkin carving, dinner, passing out candy to trick-or-treaters, and we watched the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  Thankfully, Abe and Ali had a multitude of costumes available, so even with our lack of planning, we got to dress up.

Lia was initially not too excited about the idea of dressing up and going out:
